Abstract

The following article aims to present the experience of teachers who participated in a virtual training process as part of the teacher training actions carried out by a university with a presence in Latin America. The proposal of contents and activities within the training process were aimed at ensuring that teachers know and implement different generative AI tools as allies in the organization and co-design of teaching-learning processes. The research was carried out under a qualitative approach, the responses of 52 teachers were analyzed through the coding process. The proposed training path, the experience of those who participated and recommendations based on the consultation of current regulations from international bodies, as well as from universities that have already begun the integration of AI tools in educational processes and the ethical use of AI.
